China

The pavilion’s design has been inspired by Chinese cultural houses. The roof of the houses was used to create the tops of the façade and patterns were used to decorate the entirety of the façade. Also known as Beijing siheyuan, these traditional buildings with deliberately inward-facing structures and a central courtyard were aimed at getting maximum sunlight while ensuring the privacy of the residents. Enter this great land, watch the world-famous dragon dance, listen to Guzheng music and refresh yourself with the wide range of herbal Chinese teas while checking out some fascinating handicrafts.
